Dana M. Cea (she/they)
PhD, MS, CRC, LCHMC, NCC, QS
Hi everyone!
My name is Dana M. Cea and my pronouns are she/they. I earned my doctorate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration from East Carolina University, and my master's in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling was completed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before beginning either degree, I worked as a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) and presented on mental health topics as an advocate. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Qualified Supervisor.
My volunteer work includes serving on the boards of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention North Carolina Chapter and the National Alliance on Mental Illness North Carolina. I was involved with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, including facilitating a support group for survivors of suicide loss.
Prior to my current career in mental health and coaching, I worked as an insurance agent, with retail and sales, and in a variety of other fun positions, such as puppeteer. My bachelors in Business Administration from Appalachian State University was focused on marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. Both sides of my family are full of entrepreneurs in a variety of professions, so it made sense that entrepreneurship would be a part of my life!
My clinical work centers around the LGBTQ+ community--specifically disabled, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent folx and survivors of suicide loss. I enjoy providing online therapy services through my practice, Panacea Mental Wellness, PLLC. I am now ecstatic to offer coaching services and trainings online through C&C Resourcing, Inc.!
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions and how I might be able to support you.
Thanks, Dana M. Cea (she/they)
