DESCRIPTION

Supervisors' cultural humility has been found to lead to stronger supervisory working alliances, which in turn lead to positive supervision outcomes (Zhang et al., 2021). Just as the Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies (Ratts et al., 2015) recommend we start with counselor self-awareness, cultural humility asks supervisors to reflect on themselves (Watkins et al., 2019). This training will explain the differences between cultural competencies and cultural humility, share examples of ways cultural humility can be incorporated into supervision, and explore how to assess supervisors' and supervisees' levels of cultural humility.

Hi everyone! My name is Dana M. Cea and my pronouns are she/they. I earned my doctorate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration from East Carolina University and my master's in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Qualified Supervisor. My clinical work centers around the LGBTQ+ community--specifically trans/ non binary folx; neurodivergent folx; and survivors of suicide loss. I enjoy providing online therapy services through my practice, Panacea Mental Wellness, PLLC. I am now ecstatic to offer coaching services and trainings online through C&C Resourcing, Inc.!

    For on demand products you will complete the training then submit a quiz and survey. If you pass the quiz (80% or more), a certificate will be emailed to you almost immediately. For live events you will be given a link to a survey. After receiving your survey submission, a certificate will be emailed to you within ten days.

  • How do I pay for products?

  • How do I get a refund?

    All refund requests must be made in writing ([email protected]). **On demand products**: Full refunds will be given for accidental duplicate purchases or for products that you have not already used. No refunds or credits will be given for products that have been started or completed. If you have a complaint, please see our policy regarding complaints. **Live products**: Registrants canceling between two weeks and two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the original purchase price, including taxes and other fees. Registrants canceling less than two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 25% of the registration fee subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the original purchase price, including taxes and other fees.   • How do I make a complaint?

    While we hope this never happens, here is our formal policy: Complaints must be made in writing ([email protected]). A representative will follow up on written complaints within 30 days of receiving the complaint. The following information must be included in the written complaint: (1) The name and contact information for the person making the complaint. (2) The name and contact information for the person or organization against which the complaint is made. (3) A detailed written description of the dispute, complaint, or problem. (4) Reference to the appropriate rule, standard, and/or guidelines related to the matter (if known). (5) Copies of all related correspondence, records, and other documentation. (6) Signature of the person making the complaint.
