DESCRIPTION

Group supervision is often noted as supervision sessions with more than two supervisees. There are many benefits to group supervision for supervisees such as peer feedback and moral support.  Supervision can also use group supervision to supplement income and to meet supervision demand.  How do supervisors ensure their group sessions are effective?  How do our codes of ethics apply to group supervision?  This training will start by covering applicable ethical standards.  Then effective strategies will be discussed, such as how to ensure supervisees are a good fit, how to structure sessions, and how to lead discussions with larger group sites.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Recall at least four ethical standards that apply to group supervision
  • Compare and contrast about three ways to structure group supervision sessions
  • Utilize around two discussion methods in group supervision sessions

Hi everyone! My name is Dana M. Cea and my pronouns are she/they. I earned my doctorate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration from East Carolina University and my master's in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Qualified Supervisor. My clinical work centers around the LGBTQ+ community--specifically trans/ non binary folx; neurodivergent folx; and survivors of suicide loss. I enjoy providing online therapy services through my practice, Panacea Mental Wellness, PLLC. I am now ecstatic to offer coaching services and trainings online through C&C Resourcing, Inc.!

  • How do I get my CE certificate(s)?

    For on demand products you will complete the training then submit a quiz and survey. If you pass the quiz (80% or more), a certificate will be emailed to you almost immediately. For live events you will be given a link to a survey. After receiving your survey submission, a certificate will be emailed to you within ten days.

  • How do I pay for products?

  • How do I get a refund?

    All refund requests must be made in writing ([email protected]). **On demand products**: Full refunds will be given for accidental duplicate purchases or for products that you have not already used. No refunds or credits will be given for products that have been started or completed. If you have a complaint, please see our policy regarding complaints. **Live products**: Registrants canceling between two weeks and two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the original purchase price, including taxes and other fees. Registrants canceling less than two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 25% of the registration fee subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the original purchase price, including taxes and other fees. No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund. Transfers/substitute(s) welcome (notify in advance of the program).

  • How do I make a complaint?

    While we hope this never happens, here is our formal policy: Complaints must be made in writing ([email protected]). A representative will follow up on written complaints within 30 days of receiving the complaint. The following information must be included in the written complaint: (1) The name and contact information for the person making the complaint. (2) The name and contact information for the person or organization against which the complaint is made. (3) A detailed written description of the dispute, complaint, or problem. (4) Reference to the appropriate rule, standard, and/or guidelines related to the matter (if known). (5) Copies of all related correspondence, records, and other documentation. (6) Signature of the person making the complaint.
